RTL+ Magazine

Editorial content on RTL+ required translating print-based magazines into a scalable digital experience that integrates seamlessly into a multi-purpose product.

The Challenge

With the introduction of magazines, RTL+ expanded into editorial content as a new product layer alongside video and audio. Print-based content from over 30 brands had to be translated into a consistent digital experience while balancing strong brand identities with the RTL+ look and feel. At the same time, the experience needed to support different ways of reading, from browsing full issues to consuming individual articles.

The Solution

We created a unified editorial system that integrates diverse magazine content into the RTL+ product ecosystem. Print layouts were translated into modular article structures, supported by a consistent set of components aligned with the existing design system. The experience combines a classic magazine reader with a flexible article view, allowing users to switch seamlessly between formats while navigating content across brands within a cohesive interface.

Design Vision

The initial release focused on consistency and integration. Future explorations looked at how editorial content could become a more dynamic part of the RTL+ experience, blending more naturally with video and audio within a shared discovery surface.
